Here, cooking is a family affair. Culinary skills and the love of good quality produce have been passed down through the generations. The head chef, Pascal, began honing his skills in the kitchen from an early age. His high standards and the importance placed on authentic flavours were passed on by his father Joseph, the former head chef.
Pascal is also a golf champion, familiar with setting himself challenges and performing to a high standard. He works exclusively with seasonal ingredients, and offers a fresh take on the traditional Basque cuisine and its local produce.
His passion for exquisite flavours and high quality produce extends to the restaurant’s excellent wine list. It takes you on a voyage of discovery through the finest grape varieties of the Bordeaux, Burgundy or Basque regions and is full of surprises, at reasonable prices.
